Wow, that's nice! Thank you for sharing!
This rim is damaged on the front and back but not around the outside of the rim. That is why I thought planchette error.
The tongs have tape wrapped around the end so the is cushion and it won't scratch any coins.
Because of the way the rim is not damaged at all. And the rest of the cent is not all scratched up.
Is this a planchette error? The rim is in perfect condition. Just each side is kinda rough looking. [ATTACH][ATTACH][ATTACH]
I did.
Ok. That's a good answer.

Cool thanks!
Will you please check out my new post under 1990 weak designer initials supposed to be bold.
Maybe die deterioratin?
Yes, but it says nothing about the 1990 having the transitional error.
All 1990 have the post not the straight post.1989 through 1992 all have the same G.
Ok, this is a regular strike. See how the line goes towards the middle of the G? The first picture I posted just has a straight line that doesn't...
Another picture [ATTACH]
I don't really see scratches on the inside of the G
Anyone ever seen this before? It is like a transitional cent. [ATTACH][ATTACH][ATTACH]
The 9 also has the same line but not as prominent. It very light and I can't get a picture of it.
Here is another picture. The line is definitely incuse. [ATTACH]
