It is very possible your cent could be a DDO =1 and 9.The amount of wear on the surfaces, says Pmd ( no lustre).
The 1 and the 9 are a dead give away. Lustre is the Key.

Imo, there is not enough damage to produce that much material on the coin. There is no damage on the reeding it just looks like the reeds ore...
