True, and it seems the older, the more likely to occur. I do have some with nicer surfaces and color while others have surfaces not as nice....

I am confused how some people throw around the word damaged like the coin has a big gaping hole, bent, orange from cleaning, with graffiti on it....

I am trying to figure out if this coin is actually a 1909-D. The mint mark looks a lot like a D. I posted another thread about it.
