The area just to the right does look lower , like it was a lamination error that broke off causing the "line" .

I'd say that's what a lamination erroe on a copper cent could be . I'm thinking maybe a die chip . @Jim M or @Paddy54 would know .
I think he means the coins turned in the holder , or they look to be about 15 degrees off from obverse to reverse .

Not dumb at all if the coin grades at least a grade higher , usually they sell a little under the next grade , but some ask the moon for them ....
They do have a gold bean , if they feel it's undergraded .

Believe me if you look at enough coins in a certain grade , you can start to see the high end coins just missing the next grade , and the low end...
