Just got a Straits Settlements 1896 50c. Whilst the grade isn't high, it has nice fields and picked it up for about 70 dollars including BP. [ATTACH]
Just got another but upon arrival looks cleaned.........this one has a stop after 1840. [ATTACH] [ATTACH]
Fought hard to get this one but still probably got it for 20/25% of trend once slabbed and I love the broad leaves design. [ATTACH] [ATTACH]
Thanks so much but unless it slabs really well I will have over paid. The mottled toning won't appeal to some collectors of course. At a 64 I...
I won this at auction in Australia today and it has mottled toning and is clearly MS something. I see there were only 78,000 minted and according...
Being stung by an auction house that sells fakes (Wessex Auctions, UK) was certainly reason enough to stick to what I know. Nice group. [ATTACH]

TJC was correct, ANACS MS62, though I over estimated the value. Probably paid what it's worth. Nice coin to have though.
Got my ANACS results back and my SS 1875W Cent graded AU55. Another example of same issue, same date with W was VF30.
Paid $85 hammer OK I think .......just trying to build up the currency part of my collection. [ATTACH][ATTACH]
