I purchased this directly from a dealer. In hand, it is a much nicer bronze... (especially the surfaces) The dealer didn't take the best...
You can't tell with American coins too... Or World coins... Or any coin for that matter... Your argument is invalidated by that....
I interpret this as an insult towards ancient coin collectors... The chance of an ancient coin outside of a museum being from a tomb is small......
