2.50 over spot isn't too bad. You may be able to find them for a lower premium online, but that doesn't include the shipping.

There is a cash for gold place in Derry off of exit 4 off 93. They sell ASE and and ML for only $3 above spot and generics for $2 over spot....
I live in southern NH and there are a couple good ones in my area. Don't know if that's too far for you.
I don't think $27.50 is a good deal at all for a $1 face. Melt for $1 face is under $17 right now.

Personally I wouldn't. There is a place the next town over from me that sells for $3 over spot and I may take a ride there to see what they have.
