None are key dates, buy yourself a Red Book! The 24 looks to be VG to F, worth about 25 cents....NICE FIND!
Yep, die deterioration damage. The L in LIBERTY is pretty cool though, I'd keep it.
This coin has just begun the toning process. It is bicolor with a deep, darkish red and a bright brassy red.
