    Cool looking coin Dick , I think it deserves a 65 , but have a feeling PCGS gave it a 64 because of the carbon spot and it's a woodie .

    If you buy a coin from the Mint is it MS - 70

    Some coins are made better than others , plus there is some human handling in manufacture to packing . So if there is a slight blemish it lowers...

    Thoughts on this 1953 Proof Set?

    I'm pretty sure they didn't tone like that in their original gov. Box . Doesn't mean that they didn't tone that way in some other holder or that...

    Unknown ancient coin, may be a fake

    Also look at the edge where it's sharp , chances are a coin if it were real and that used would be worn and be more rounded . Too many ands ifs...
