Wow! I didn't even realize the Barr was a star. I got to see this! This would definetly be a first for me.
They were used between '47-'48.
JFYI, anything with any relief will not scan, as I am sure you can tell now. It has to be flat on the scanbed to show any detail.;)

Even though they are realively common, I think its always nice to have a Barr dollar. I would keep it. And it always helps to have a nice SN!:D

Its a pretty easy set to get. All is relativly cheap unless you want to go in UNC-BU. Hardest one to get would be '55 NSF, but I just nocked it...

They are equals to a point. But the '23 is scarcer in higher grades.
