This is a really cool thread on the 1810 but not much to help with the image posted....
Just wondering what it graded.
I agree 100% Each dip and every second takes away from what the coin once was. It's not something for most to play with on a coin of much value.
To me, from the image, the coin has the look of once being much darker. I feel it took more than an acetone bath. It looks dipped. With more...
It's been cleaned.
I feel the reverse pulls it down to an MS-64.

I used PCI back in the green 10 digit holder days. They were really tough on some coin types. This site has some great information....

This was in with a few Kennedys in a sandwich bag at an IRS auction. Paid $5 or $6 for the bag. It has a PVC problem but I still like it. [IMG] [IMG]

I was shocked the first auction didn't get pulled. I'm guessing the seller ended it. I didn't see the second listing before it was pulled.
I always thought that the person taking an image owned the rights to it. Ebay will end an auction if the person who owns an image complains about...
