#1 is from Japan. A 10 Sen - Y#49 - unsure of date but sometime between 1927 and 1932. $0.50 to $1.50 depending on date. #2 also from Japan....
Look at the "9" in 1859. The 1859 narrow 9 looks like a normal number 9, well defined with good seperation of the "tail" from the upper 'body"....
I could find no mention of a repunched die for the 1940 Newfoundland Cent. The "C" mintmark was ommited in error on the 1940 and 1942 1 Cent coins.
