I've only had one dealing with Bill at Lake Superior Coins so far, but he was very accommodating. He is the only one running his shop, yet he goes to coin shows all over the state and region. He has a wish list form that you can fill out on his website and he will find them for you. I intend to visit his shop more often when I have time, but he is quite a nice guy. He has numismatic literature and has said that if there is something he doesnt have, he can have it there in a few days. He has supplies, proof and mint sets, as well as a large selection of inventory.
Bill is a good guy. He has a pretty good inventory and yes....can usually get what you need. I occasionally go in and lend him a hand. Good friend and we are in the same coin club as well.
One visit to this shop. On display were many nice assorted raw coins, but no slabs. I was unable to complete a transaction for some nice pieces, as they are (or were at the time) cash only and I was not prepared for that. Very nice, personable, knowledgable shopkeeper. Hope to return with cash, next time I'm in the area.
