My multiple experiences with Bozarth Numismatics have shown me that they are a first-rate coin dealer. To date, I have purchased five (5) coins from them through both their eBay store and their dealer website. Please note: the two inventories do not overlap. Normally, the coins <$500 are listed on eBay, and the higher value items are found on their webpage. I recommend checking both in order to find the coins you are looking for. I have never personally spoken with the owners Vic and Sherri, nor have I met them at a show, but I have worked directly with their office manager, Stuart. I have been told that Vic does the coin shows, and is constantly on the road around 3 weeks per month. Stuart takes care of the web and office side of the business and Sherri handles eBay sales http://stores.ebay.com/bozarthnumismaticsinc. So, depending on how you like to buy your coins, you may only ever deal with one of them. Stuart does well with email correspondence as well as phone calls, and we were able to come to agreement on the following wonderful CAC approved Type coins: 1806 HALF CENT - DRAPED BUST PCGS VF25 BROWN CAC 1826 CENT - CORONET PCGS VF35 CAC 1818 QUARTER DOLLAR - CAPPED BUST PCGS G6 CAC 1832 HALF DOLLAR - CAPPED BUST, LETTERED EDGE PCGS XF45 CAC 1838 HALF DOLLAR - CAPPED BUST, REEDED EDGE PCGS XF45 CAC By working with Stuart, I was able to negotiate better prices for all five coins than what they listed on their sites. This may not always be the case, but I have found Stuart receptive to reasonable offers. They offered the best discount if I paid by check, and I have also paid via PayPal. Both methods worked easily with no payment issues to report. I have loved every single coin I have received from Bozarth Numismatics. Their online coin photos are better than most, having a slightly washed-out look but with accurate details shown. I have never seen manipulated photos that left me disappointed when the coin arrived. Quite the opposite, I have always been pleasantly surprised. Coins were well packaged and shipped quickly, and Stuart emailed tracking info and followed up as needed. As a collector who enjoys purchasing CAC coins, I appreciate that Vic sends so much of his inventory for CAC review, so there are always lots of affordable and expensive CAC inventory to choose from. I did try and work out a trade, but after a day of thinking it over, Vic declined to make an offer on my coins. I was not surprised, as I had mostly modern coins that they do not often deal in. It was worth trying, and there were no hard feelings. I have no complaints to write about, and I plan to purchase additional coins from Bozarth Numismatics in the future. Bozarth Numismatics is easily in my personal top 5 favorite / best coin dealers. I highly recommend you check their sites and make sure to call or email with offers, as they are very receptive to placing coins in good hands.
Very reputable, Vic has great market sense, that ever-important collector's eye, and the sense of fairness all collectors want in a dealer.
