      Hi Tim, I would recommend the Canon Power Shot SX210 IS. I have a different higher-end Canon and I have seen this less expensive camera outshoot mine without much effort. It is affordable and easy to use. Hope you find a camera that works best for you! Glad to hear you had a good offer for your nickel!
