Nothing new, just a little worried about that Matte Proof Lincoln I just won off of Heritage. On top of that, former Pro Surfer Andy Irons died on the 2nd. He was an awesome normal-footed champ, it's horrible to lose someone like that. He was awesome

At the last Heritage auction- I picked up two V Nickels... 1887 & 1888 both PCGS AU 58
paid a bit more than I wanted - but - they are both 100% struck up - and hardly any rub.
      I call them AU 64 !! LOL.

Nickels, how goes it? Thank you for the invite. The only thing I have new to report is a let down with a 9 coin collection I thought was an U.K. Euro Set made by the Royal Mint. It was made by a company like the Franklin Mint so it's not the real deal. A gent name Doug Prater (I think that's how he spells his name) on cointalk gave me the low down. I've almost quit collecting because gold an silver are now higher than a elephants butt. I still hit the shows and stores, but I buy very little. Catch ya later.

Cool, I only have a no cents V Nickel in XF40-45 condition. Just for my type cent. They're pretty nickels though. Much better then the shield.

Really dont specialize in anything. Building a mid-grade U.S. type set but the gold is holding me back, I dabble in ancients & I collect some world coins, most from south american and italy.

      You?

      Hey!

I read in your profile that you collect bottles. This beauty, I found last spring behind a new residential development. It was completely intact and has a nice applied bottom. Is this the type of bottles that you collect?
