Became interested in coins in the early 1950's when my uncle would periodically give me a silver dollar. I was so impressed by the design, art and wieght of the coin that I would not spend it, rather I put them away to admire. I later expanded my collection to include pennies, nickles and dimes. (I remember clearly having an aluminium penny), which I thought was a gag coin. Unfortunately my entire collection was stolen and I'm only now, in my retirement, beginning to get reacquainted with coins. I'm starting with silver eagles, (being certain that silver prices will increase dramatically in the near future). Untill I get back into this I'm probably going to post some questions that may sound ridiculous, so please understand.
