    I'm also a retired electrical engineer. I began buying and selling and collecting coins in 2018 out of boredom, I have a small but decent collection mostly silver but some gold as well. Prior to Covid-19 I had a great deal but sold off most of it. I'll show on here a few down the road. My favorite is a 1776-1976 Kennedy half dollar I dad gave me in june of 1982. I just kept the coin which was in a paper coin holder in a small safe until last year when looking at it I noticed something odd, Kennedy had a protruding hole just above his temple. This hole had metal coming out of his face as like a bullet. I sent it to PCGS and they did what they do and sent the certified coin back but didn't say a thing about the hole. Don't understand that one.
