My apologies, thinking back on my last pm I realized it probably crosses the line of our rules. My intentions were quite innocent but should not have been said. Is there a source you could recommend to help me find out about the MPC I mentioned? I would really like to know more. If nothing else I can probably find the answers in the ANA library when I'm in Colorado Springs for the ANA summerschool.
      Thanks,
      Don

Thanks for the pictures. They really helped. I have 1 peso and a 10 peso that are quite similar in design. Another is a Phillipine 2 peso note with the date June 13, 1922 and the reverse has "Victory" printed in large bold type across the design, seemingly added after the note was printed. The last one is a little smaller - 3" X 2 5/8" - Top of front says in english Military Currency, value 50 Sen, series 100. Reverse states "Issued pursuant to Military Proclomation" All 4 are "circulated" but reasonably preserved. The "victory" one is in the best condition.
I don't collect currency; is it something I should hold on to? Would currency collectors be interested?
      Thanks for the help!!!!

      Good Afternoon,
I have a friend coming over after lunch that is a computer whiz and photo master. Could you send me the pictures you mentioned yesterday having to do with WWII Japanese MPC used in the Phillipines? It would be very appreciated as I am not an expert in online pictures, etc. Maybe we'll find something you and I could work out a trade on or.......

As I have indicated, I am new to this whole category of life to the point that I don't even know what mpc stands for. But, for what it's worth, here I am.

Not being very familiar with msg boards, I am not really sure about the friend aspect. Do I acquire 'coin points' and when I have 100 friends it equals 1/10 Gold Eagle. Ten times this...well you get it, hehe
      Seriously, thanks for request,
      Arthur

      Rusty,

Thanks. I'll certainly keep that in mind. I haven't even made a list of what I already have. I have to restore my computer first and need to get a day off from work to do that.

I do not know what a "friend" on here is or what it entails, but I don't know what facebook or twitter are either in other than a general sense. Do I know you from another site or are you a Canadian collector? Thanks

I keep trying to respond to your friend request and saving changes, but nothing seems to happen. What am I doing wrong?

Maybe you can explain to me what the "credits" are for. I clicked on that area, and came up with some sort of bank/loan/transfer area. This was very confusing for me. The part about "purchase" did not make sense either. - Thanks,Tess
