I should have hopped into this more quickly. Ken has an illness in his family that he is dealing with for the past few and the next few days. He will get back to this in a few days and He'll pull your coin to the front of the pile. He wants to look at it but he indicated that from the images he first saw, that he thinks it's nothing. Chuck and I also agree, as you know that the coin is a dud:-)
In any case, Ken will get to it as soon as he can.

      Thanks,
      Bill

      Hi,

That would be the point. It can't get there by any means known to man at the Mint.
Rot can look like anything. When James or Mike sees the coin, they will come to the same conclusion.

      Thanks,
      Bill

Hi Bill, You probably don't remember me, but we met on line back in the 90's when I was just starting my searching rolls for varieties. You were a big help to me back then, teaching me a lot. I remember you were always very kind and patient. I also recall how you talked about the wildlife in your back yard. Also, how is your wife Debbie doing?
It's good to see you still on top of the hobby. I've been on the search myself now going on 13 years. A little older, a littler wiser as they say. Anyway, I just wanted to say hi and thank you for your early mentorship. Take care. Rock

      Hi Jim,

Good Job, I didn't want to point the finger but if you found the guy...OK....seldom are his die varieties accurate. Especially RPMs.

Slabbed stuff and raw non-variety stuff , you be the judge. But care should be taken.

      Thanks,
      Bill

I've been a collector and roll searcher for more than than 45 years. OUCH! Also work with and train parrots. I am a classically trained tenor and besides singing, I direct a local church choir.

    Coins, music and parrots!
