Peter, I like this forum and am thinking of upgrading my membership. Can you tell me some more about what this takes or involves? I am not a real talkative fellow and post but seldom, however I do like to at least pay my own way and perhaps show some credentials as I stumble along. I keep learning from all the more senior members here and hopefully contribute a bit myself.

Peter, could you start an article on how and why the grading companies determine a "Counterfeit" coin as one that is made for personal gain by a mint employee. This finding affects many people. Plus, it can be questioned as far as how can they make money off of a coin that was minted, at the mint, sent to the middle of the country, never making that person any money. It only hurts a person who finds one.
