Welp, I do like the idea of a chatroom. I was here when we had it, but never used it much. I'll register and give the place a looksie.

Oh, ok. Just found who it was - Coinmaniac14? LOL. Sorry for the mix-up.

I had it close with the 'C', though. ;)

I threw together a video a couple of days ago of me sharing my bust halves, in case you ever wanted to check it out.

      Hahaha. Thanks, man.

Were you the one asking me about my YouTube videos?

It was someone from these forums. It was regarding my most recent video... The one about the Bust halves.

I know it was a YN... Haha.

Are you involved w/ any shops in your town? :)

      Hey Caz,

It's quite a funny (but long) story, actually... Hahaha. I was a regular at a shop in my town over the course of a year or so, and I developed relationships with some of the employee there. One the employees eventually decided to open up his own shop in my town, and gave me the opportunity to work there (he already knew how much I study and enjoy numismatics), and I simply couldn't pass the offer up. :)

Again, this is a very short version of the story. ;)

      Say This Word : Eye
      Spell This Word : MAP
Say This Suffix of a Word(?) : Ness

Now say all three together as quick and as loud as you possibly can... ;) Get back to me when you've cracked the code, k homez?

I noticed that as well. The abrasion is deep, but, because it is not in a major focal point on the coin (being very near to the rim at 6 o' clock), I think PCGS was being a little lenient... And I'm sure they factored in the coin's rarity and age, even though PCGS always denies doing so - They want to certify high-quality rarities like this.

Ever notice how key-date coins are typically the examples you see "overgraded"? This is the same sort of concept.

Hahaha, funny stuff, man, funny stuff. ;)

Alright... Going to hit the sack (in an appropriate way - don't get the wrong idea). ;)

      Goodnight!

Unfortunately, my laptop isn't loading photos on any websites right now (including Facebook, so my nightly-ritual of stalking "hawt chix" has been compromised), so I can't see the coin...

I'm pretty sure a simple re-boot will solve the problem, but it's getting late and figured I'd just wait 'til morning. Rest assured I'll comment on your coin by sunrise, because God knows I'll be up many hours before that for school......... *sigh*. :rollling:

Have a good night, and feel free to stop by and chat anytime. :)

Thanks, man... And, no, unfortunately not. My pockets aren't THAT deep (If you couldn't tell, it's an 1815/2).It's a PCGS plate photo of an AU58 example (The best, IMO), and I just liked the toning. Hahaha! ;)I'm more fond of circulated examples, so I'm not too sure how long I'll keep it... But, for now, it'll do. I was just getting sick of the 1817/3. :p-Brian
