I'm 396 was built by an engine builder named Gary Wilson. It's not stock but it's not overly built either. It has factory 396 heads with double value springs. 9.5:1 compression, Comp 270 Magnum Cam, Edelbrock Performer Intake, Holley 770 Street Avenger carb, Hedman HTC Headers (I believe 1 3/4in tubes & 3in collector...but I can't remember, full custom 2.5in exhaust with Mangaflow Mufflers and X-pipe. It runs very good. It currently has a GM HEI distributor which I don't like, I am thinking of switching to a MSD E-curve distributor.

its too bad. Its bent from the front all the way to where the beggining of the door would be. We could get one for a couple hundred also.

no, the car was in a front end accident before we bought it and the frame was bent and twisted. There was no front clip on it when we brought it home

oh yeah. The frame is no good either so we have to replace it

those pics of the blue one were as of last week. The primed Malibu pics are from about 8 months ago, were going to do a frame off restoration on it, making it a grand touring type of car with airide suspension, its on blocks now in the garage.

That's what I like to hear. When I graduated from high school in 2003 I bought a 1969 Camaro. She's just a plain jane car...but I'm in the process of making an SS clone out of her. Already got the 396 in and running good. My daily driver is a 2002 Camaro SS 35th Anniversary edition was a 6-speed.
