1943 copper cents? or am i missing something?

1943 D S and P copper looking. I don't know to believe this or not? could they be plated? would counterfeit look different in someway? lol or am i missing something?

IDK I can tell by the spotting & the price that they are plated. Electroplating maybe?
The spotting seems to be an underlying layer of tarnish.

 

My guess is that it looks like this. Things like that happen when you use odd colored backgrounds.

 

Hmm never thought it would be the exposure. Thats odd though because what does the seller expect the buyers reaction to be when he gets Steel Wheats?

 

I think I am pretty good at trouble shooting a lot of things, but the human mind is definitely not one of them.
