possible 1919 1MM-001 south

    Not sure, but looks like it might match up to Coppercoins,s beauty. Except for the beauty part. What do you guys think?:eek:

    For the 1919S since I did not specify on top.

    It looks like it, but it also looks like die detoriation.

    While I would not rule out there being something to the south it's not RPM-001 as the position of the mint mark is not correct for that variety. Can you get a photo of the MM straight on?

    I think the MM is very close to where the variety shows it to be.

    Looks like die scratches to me. The east side of the mint mark is the direction the wear would flow. Device to the rim.

    Notice the die scratches on the fields, they are as tall as the area in question. Just a normal coin from what I can see.

    Sorry, when comparing dies you have to have an exact match, not just close. I took the liberty of borrowing your pics and I think this shows that these don't match.
