What is your opinion on this coin ? Can you tell me something about it from viewing these terrible photo's ? I'm not sure whether it's the camera or the person taking the pictures. I try the micro mode but I can't seem to get a good image in the view finder.
Course my eyes are not all that good anymore.

Sorry, I can't tell from those images if it is AU or low grade unc. Have you tried getting more light on it for your pictures?

I am going to guess that what I am seeing that looks like wear is from the 2x2 it is in. I'll say it is a 63, bu tit could easily go 58.

    Do you have a scanner?

p.s. from the photos (and it certainly may be the photo), the coin's surfaces look suspect to me (?polished and retoned?).

I agree with Leadfoot. But it almost looks like its had a old cleaning and then retoned. It could be polished and retoned, not so sure.

Hope these are a little clearer. I hate to take them out of the protective covers.

I would say AU-50, toning is odd.

    I'd call it a AU55. I'm sorry, it's an ugly coin.
