I found a 1979 quarter that appears to have a "blob" on both sides. One is on the wing of the eagle and the other is on Washingtons throat. I found reference to one like this on another site but someone told the person that someone had tampered with it probably. It sounded like it was very similar to mine. Has anyone here ever seen one like it? I may be able to get a decent pic of it later.

Also, not long after they were minted, I found a Delaware that is 180 degrees rotated. I took it to a coin shop right after I found it and although it has discoloration on it, he called Fred Weinberg and Fred told the guy in the shop that he would give me $100 for it, sight unseen. Does anyone know anything about these quarters?
    Thanks a million in advance!

It is possible on any coinage to have a 180 degree miss alignment. Seems like the Philly Philadelphia State was the State quarter was the one everyone was searching for.
