Just won this in an auction over the weekend. This is the first SL half dime going into my collection. What do you guys think of it? Cleaned? Grade and value? Ill tell you what I paid after some responses.
Looks like it has some pits. Looks like it was cleaned long ago due to hairline scattered. Also looks scratched on the middle front.
At first I thought the ops coin was just showing signs of circulation, but checking the ana standards the wear is too uneven imo to have been from commerce, I would say it was cleaned, details are about a f-15, I think that it could bring about 12-15 dollars.
