Still going thru the boxes of cents, every roll seems to have one wheatie, no big ones though. And I found a 72 with the date machine doubled. Dont think its worth anything, but still cool to find.

When roll searching, I wear disposable latex gloves (get a pharmacy) because the crud on the coins is sooo nasty. The gloves turn a beautiful (not!) yellow/brown when I'm done.

what kind of gloves you get i've tried gloves but there to big and don't let me search well so i just go w/o them and when im done my fingers are black and the smell doesn't take off for a day or so :'(

Since I've been banned for telling someone what I thought of them, in a PM to boot, I just wanted to make one last post.

Thanks for introducing me to the hobby of roll-searching and resparking my interest in coins. I will undoubtedly spend countless hours on this hobby for many years to come. I've enjoyed reading about your finds and telling you about mine, and I may very well drop in from time to time to talk about it. Once again, thank you, and enjoy.

    Sincerely,
    LTrain.

PS; if anybody wants to get into contact with me, my email is dvmaprezson at gmail.com

PPS; Just found out the person I let loose on is under 10 years old. Shouldn't be on a forum for starters, and I really hope Cointalk isn't in violation of COPPA, which is almost assured unless they have express (I believe, written) consent from the parents for their child to be here. God forbid that kids email is somewhere a human could find it, then they're really in some crap...

PPPS; I'll be at the Philly Whitman show later this month. If anybody wants to meet up and have me buy 'em a beer somewhere, just hit me up via email. I can make a day outta coins and beer.

    2 boxes of halfs - 4-40% and 1 2010

Do any of you keep all of the NIFC coins that you find? I have so many at this point I guess I'll dump them back in for someone else to find. A few of them that I found all together in a CHR are very nice condition with no marks that I can see

Got $100 in dimes. Went through EVERY SINGLE ONE. Only took 23 out that interested me. No silver either...

I also wear latex gloves when sifting! Not only does it protect you from the nasty gunk that circulated coins collect, it also protects you from absorbing metals through your skin im sure!

I can't remember the last time I saw a silver or a wheat in change or in a roll... but I think it happened in the 20th century... circulation seems very picked through...

I got into the last 20 CWR of cents I had on hand from my last buy. Found a MS 1942 S that has paper glued to the reverse like it came from a folder or something ? If it cleans up, it is better than the one in my latest LWC set. Also had a 1995 D that looked like doubling in "LIBERTY" ?

I have been down for a couple of days, so I couldn't get pics.

Meds are off, or something ?
