My first post on Coin Talk was 09/13/09 and marks the beginning of my return to coin collecting. I've learned a lot this year, and have thoroughly enjoyed the hobby. I go to our local coin show almost every month and I read the posts here on Coin Talk almost every day.

My collection started with Kennedy Half Dollars, which I completed to my satisfaction. However the coin that most captivated me this year was the Franklin Half Dollar. I really like that coin, and was able to complete a set in MS-60 or better. I also have all the proofs with the exception of 1950. I hope to get that sometime next year.

At present my collecting activity is drawn toward the Peace Dollar and the Walking Liberty Half. I think I am going to try to focus on the Walking Liberty since I've got such a good start on a half dollar collection.

Thanks to all of you here for educating me. I don't post a lot myself, but I read your posts regularly.

    Here's some pictures.

Way to focus like a laser on your goals.

I may lack that focus but I can appreciate those who have that talent.

Thanks for the comments. I am a little obsessive about the organization of the coins. :)
