OK, recently came across a Morgan dollar with a sticker on the obverse. If anyone has any information on this it would be greatly appreciated.
Very cool! No idea about it, but that means it should be worth 5% over book, right? What condition is the obverse? Great piece!
I would say the obverse is "ST(ickered)-63." The reverse is VF to XF. I've seen these in the Jaeger Red Book on tokens and medals but I was just wondering if anyone has any clue of "Oil City" and of any worth.
I have seen them before advertising businesses from cripple creek. All the ones i have seen are 21 morgans and 22-23 peace dollars.
