I'm glad you all like it. In response, I have some "valuable" stuff in a safe, though I have nothing of any real value. Almost everything is foreign and everyone knows foreign ain't worth squat. I admit, almost everything I got in bulk lots, junk boxes, and bulk junk trades. For most of my coins, the cost of storage (2X2s and the boxes to hold them) exceeds the cost I paid or value of the coin. Besides, the weight and quantity is so large that a robber would need a forklift to get it out. So....no Smith and Wesson needed, the dog will do just fine. As for the weight, that is a real concern of mine. The closet is on the second floor, but it is located directly above a wall below, so hopefully it has some support underneath. I've still been considering the weight thing though. I remember in college that the University library had all of their journals stored on the first and second floor, but because the weight was bowing the building, they all had to be moved down to the first floor and basement. That lesson was not lost on me.
