Question - I have 4 rolls of these 2003 P&D halves still in mint roll. I know there isn't a lot of value to them per say but I am not opening them because their "uncirculated". My question is; can I call them BU or anything else since technically they are not graded etc and I can't open them to really see how they are. How can you "assume these rolls are and how would you classiby them - besides "uncirculated"?

    Cheers,

If they are still in the original Mint wrapper, yes, they are still considered "uncirculated" or "BU" whichever you choose to call them. However, if the coins have toned on the ends, I think it would be a little absurd to call them "brilliant anything".

Thanks - Just wasn't sure. The coins don't look tones - but to appear to have a yellow finish on them that looks like it was applied by the mint etc.
