I am cleaning out my father's estate and came upon this coin. Profile of Elizabeth on one side, US Eagle on the back. There is no date on the coin at all. The Elizabeth side seems to be another type of metal than the other. Value? Karen

Hi Karen welcome to CoinTalk can you possibly post a pic or acan of the coin? that would make Id'ing it a lot easier :thumb: It might not even be a coin but a medal or token of some sort.
Karen: Welcome, and please check the rim, see if two coins were glued together,and then just pull them apart. There is nothing wrong with this, since the coins shouldn't be glued in the first place.
i have the same coin!! no date on mine either. i am going to a coin appraiser tomorrow, i will let you know what it is and how much its worth....im very curious about, i cant find much info on it over the web

Post a picture of both sides of the coin. No one can tell you anything without seeing the coin. 17 years, 3 people asking about the "same" coin with no pictures, no date, no country, and the previous two never returned. Curious.
