1988 Clipped Planchet?

    Is this a clipped planchet or is it just a damaged coin? Thanks for any given help!

    Post Mint Damage, in my opinion. No Blakesley effect, that is, no flattening on the directly opposite rim and no loss of detail around the botched edge. Looks to me like it was burnt with heat or acid. Just my POV. Other opinions to follow... :)
