"Oh yeah" what? "findings" of what? Your post makes no sense. Nor does it make any sense for you to believe anyone on an internet forum whom you don't personally know anymore than what you hear/read in the media, televised or printed. But the point was to say that you weren't capable of creating this thread without sensationalized media headlines, and as such it stoked your fears with one of the biggest conspiracy theories there are, that there's no gold in the bullion depository.

Would a government not lie to the people, it really doesn't matter, truth or lies, someone will still spin facts to suit them and create a conspiracy out of nothing. And don't expect a guard who works at the vault to tell you the truth, they work for the government whom you disbelieve in.

Even if there is gold in Fort Knox who's to say it was not sold off as paper gold and China owns the note?

Who? The US government. Show us your proof why you believe such an arrangement, sale or trade (agreement) were made between these nations before you "question" it and in so doing stir the fears of other with off the cuff baseless theories.

This is the same government that stole the gold from the people in the first place, so im sorry if i don't take their world for it.. The odds that none of the politicians have found a way to spend that money since the 1930's is low.

Why do you think the government spent so much money on moon flights?

The gold was shipped to the moon in the early 1970's.

    :)

Stole what gold from what people? What money spent by which politicians? 1930? Nothing you say is grounded nor backed by a shred of fact. It's easy to make up fantastical stories about that which you cannot grasp the entirety of, but please, stop posting this baseless, far fetched conspiracy laden speculation dribble until you can provide facts for your contrary points of view.

I'm well aware of this executive order and sensed it was the basis for your erroneous comments. I think you should re-read that yourself, not attempt to re-write history to suit your anti-government stance. About all this much mythified order did was to prevent ownership of gold as people were hording it due to a devalued dollar and the banking system was running dry. The order protected the banks and people were not allowed to own gold. The gold reserve act of 1934 made the gold clauses unenforceable. Not until the Nixon then Ford administrations when the US went off the gold standard was the limitation lifted allowing people to again own gold. Funny how they did an audit of the bullion depository at Fort Knox at about the same time don't you think.

I was questioning what was the media finding if this is such a hot topic with them.

Me thinks you protest too much.

Think what you will. Interesting that you only brought up the topic when it was a hot one in the media controlling your fears.

And the executive order didn't "steal" the gold. It was called in and the people were paid for it. At face value for the gold coins and gold certificates, and at the going rate for gold for non-monitary gold.

So if i forced you to sell me your gold bullion for half its value under threat of theft of money "fines" or kidnapping "Imprisonment" at gun point thats not theft?
