    Hello!

I've attached photographs of a 1928 Peace dollar. It's one of the keys to the set.

Do you believe the rim bump on this coin would get it bodybagged if sent to one of the top grading services: PCGS, NGC, or ANACS?

What do you think? What net grade do you think this gets?

    Thanks....Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays

Nice NATURAL coin. I'd say VF with a NET grade of F for the rim damage. Send it to ANACS for grading.

Unfortunately "Bonedigger" is right. PCGS and NGC will most likely not accept the coin because of its small rim dent. That is why ANACS is so good and offers to slab a lot of the rejected coins that PCGS and NGC give back.

    Thanks Fellas

Do you think that this rim ding is large enough that even ANACS might not grade it? I noted it's only on the reverse of the coin, and otherwise it's a natural and original piece.

If I were you I would just call ANACS and ask them.

Nice coin, I agree I have an ANACS coin that also has a large rim ding so i bet they'll slab it.

I think ANACS would be the only good one that would grade it....I know PCI also grades coins like this....
    Grade....F-15

They will most probebly slab it, I have seen slabed coins that state the problem with rim damage, ect... :eating:

NGC might still do it. I think i'd go with ANACS though. ;)
