I found a 1997 Quarter in which the position for the mint mark is a hole. If I would guess what mint it came from, I would say Denver. Any idea what would cause this?
I think that is the first 1983 DDR I've seen. Here's a weirdo 1992 I found today in bank rolls ( along with a MS 1927 )
how does error searching work like honestly they make about 200 million lets say pennys im sure the mint makes tons of them with error how come each one of the errors are more valuable? i don't get it Oo?
I guess it all depends on the type of error ( some more popular and scarce then others ) but also maybe because they aren't supposed to make any errors?
i agree with you but i mean its obvious they probably make at least a million errors per year mintage each year Oo
I doubt it's that many or else they become worthless. Like the Machine Doubling on the 1992's.. almost one in five seem to be MD'd. If you follow the market on errors you'll see that the more that make the scene the less valuable they become. Like the 1995 and 1969 DDO's.
I submitted this coin to be viewed by BJ from (Trail Dies and Wavy Steps) and today I received it back.....................Im happy to say it will be listed as 1999P-5DEO-001T
2008 Nickel with strange line. Im not sure what to make of this line in jefferson`s eye..If you know please comment and let me know ..Thanks Alot!!!
Search results I just finished a box of " Cents" and besides the typical 10-15 common wheats , I found a 1921 S in EF condition and this 1960 D RPM and a weird variety of a 1971 DDO. The doubling in the 1971 is primarily on the Motto, very little in the date and liberty.
Yesterday was my birthday, for real. I figured the Coin-Gods would want to give me alittle gift so I bought a box. LOL.
