I got about $150 in Ike's a while ago and I finally got around to looking through them and I found a 1972 Type 2. I'm pretty excited about it since I almost just turned them back in for face because I don't know what to do with them.

EBAY! sold them for twice face on there though shipping and fees will probably give you less profit ... but then again people seem to pay more for a whole lot

$60 in nickels today. Filled a hole with an AU 1953. Know it a common but I still needed it. I guess 1 is better than skunked.

have been searching nickels and dime rolls, but haven't found anything!

well tonight, i was getting ready to take the dog for her nightly walk and asked my girl for some change to get a pepsi. she handed me a bunch of dimes, something looked different.. it ended up being a '64-P! never found one in circulation, but i do have another! still happy about my first silver dime find!

i also got a '74-D and '78-D nickel in change, from the machine. i needed those to fill some holes. then as i was leaving i seen a nickel on the ground beside the machine. i picked it up and turned it over, it's a '70-S! i needed that to fill a hole as well. the S mints are the big ones i need, i only have one other S mm Jefferson.

i am going to check the girls change purse in the morning. she handed me a bunch of late '60's dimes as well. maybe there will be a few more silvers in that bag...

it just amazes me, that she would have spent that for face value, if i didn't need a drink!

You could, you never know. Like I posted, my brothers first attempt at bags/boxes netted him 200-90% and 9-40%.

Box of halves, 1 '64. First 90% I've found in a long time. I'll tell you guys exactly how many boxes it was on Monday.

Bags are $1000 and tough to find in the NE, from my experience.

You're correct on both counts. I've been unable to find a bank that can/will sell me bags after asking about 50

I just discovered a small, local bank with a total of three branches that's been in business for 125 years. I'm hoping this is my ticket to some big finds. Unfortunately, they're closed already for today and tomorrow, dammit.

I bought 4 rolls of half dollars at the bank yesterday. They had to get them out of the vault as no tellers had any. From the 4 rolls I harvested 2 '64 Kennedys, 1 '67 Kennedy and 1 '62 Franklin. I thought that was pretty good.

Jeez, your rolls are getting better and better. You paid 20 bucks for easily 200 dollars in silver if you went to sell it.

Our only dealer pays $1.25 for each 40% and get this he pays $2.50 for 90% halves. He just advertised in the paper that he is buying Silver Eagles for $10.00

if i was you i would advertise a better deal. like $1.80 for a 40%, $4 for a 90%, and $14 for the silver eagles. you could even go more...

at worst he has to stop squeaking when he walks and up his price to what it should be. at best you take all his business and sell them online or craigslist with a big profit.

Every ROLL? that is just sick, Sampson, just sick!!! I'd be getting every roll I could if I were you. Wow.

    I searched 50 bucks in CWR....skunk
    Box one: One 40%er
    Box two: Skunk
Box three: 4 40%er and one 1964. This puts me at 991.....9 more to go to reach 1000!

I also found a 1986 Statue of Liberty Commemorative....MY FOURTH ONE! I wish I could find a different commem, lol!

I have one box to go...
