1776 Continental Dollar PCGS AU58 CAC

    Some of you may have seen this coin before from my previous postings about it. I got the opportunity yesterday to take some new pictures of it. I wanted to share.

    It was bought a couple of years ago and it was north of $50k... I am only part owner of this coin... and sadly it's a minority share...

    Super coin/ how does partial owner work out? You must definitely trust the silent partner or vice versa. Again great coin

    Instead of asking for payment for my services as the person who finds these coins and inspects them I ask for partial ownership. Basically I take whatever he was going to pay out in a percentage of the coin or coins. It also makes it in my best interest to pick the best coin(s) I possibly can. It has worked very well for both of us in the past. It doesn't work very well for low end coins.. but when your talking big money coins it's always good to get an honest opinion from someone you trust... and not necessarily from someone who is trying to sell you their most expensive coin.

    Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...Continental DOLLAR! I jusr breezed past this thinking it was just another Continental Cent. I'm glad I opened this thread, nope, never seen one of them puppies, that's off the chart.
