    cwtokenman - You are a wealth of information! I had never heard of these before. Based on Ebay pricing, they appear to have a loyal following. Is there any other general information you can provide on beginning a collection of these? Thanks.

    So called dollars number in the thousands and have been issued by many different countries. The Hibler and Kapplen book covers a 1000 different examples from the US - and that is just the ones that met their stsndards.

    To find out more about them just type "so called dollars" into Google and be prepared to read for a while.

    I love morgans but I have to say my favorite dollar's are trade dollers, but with all the fake's and ther price, morgans and peaces are diffintallly easier to collect. (sry about the crappy spelling :) )

    Peace
    Morgan
    SBA (just kidding)
    my third favorite is the Ike.
