Silver certificate SNs

    just wondering if the numbers on these can make them worth any type of premium,
    nothing special but i heard that some that are almost there can still be worth something...

    K 21886655 A
    M 26270404 A
    C 96965150 A
    * 36831982 A Birthday note of so i've heard?

    doubtful that the SNs would do much. grade will be the biggest determiner, but SCs are way common, so even that doesn't necessarily mean there's much premium.

    I believe a true birthday note needs to be "AABBCCCC" where AA is 12 or less, BB is 31 or less, and CCCC is a year that would actually be someone's birth year.

    few folks actually buy b-day notes, so if you find one in circulation, the numbers can really be in any order you want if you want to keep the note. Just keep in mind, that you might never be able to sell it for anything more then face value.
