Roosevelt's (2010)

I am in NY and picked up a 2010 P & D in change today. I was under the impression mintages for the 10 were kind of low. Should I consider my self lucky today?

I wouldn't, they're fairly common already. The 2009's are the ones to put aside.

 

I live in NY. Almost every time that I get change here in upstate, I find something 2010, mainly cents, dimes, and nickels, though. Trust me...if you found one, you'll find many more.

 

Another NYer here... The last few weeks I have been spotting them (2010 dimes, only P so far) in my change a couple of times a week. It's the 2009 that I have STILL! only found ONE coin in circulation! That is really hard to believe.

 

That is very weird to me because I have NEVER found a 2009 nickel OR dime, yet i find 2010s.

 

No 2009 nickel in circulation here either.

 

2010 are very common where i live P & D and i think i got some 2009 p d also not sure though lucky for you though i guess =)

 

Thanks everybody for your input. I will keep them just because they are shinny I am from Dallas so that is why I was kind of surprised to get these guys in change today. What's even more weird, is I got a state quarter that I needed in the same change. Go figure, two dimes and a quarter that I needed. I will have to come up here more often.

 

I got a roll of dimes at the bank last week and it was all 2010s. I was disappointed because I was actually hoping for a mixed selection to search. I don't need that many new ones.

 

2010 pennies circulate in Upstate New York!
