    I picked up 20 1965 mint sets and wanted to know if there are any variations i should look for or if any higher grades ones are worth picking out?

    I know a bit about them... the beads around the obverse of the coin come in three types for the dollar coin large, medium and small... for the prooflike set they only come in small and large... they also come with a pointed or blunt 5 in the date so this makes quite a number of different varieties of dollar coins...
    SB= small beads, LB=large beads, P5=pointed 5, B5=blunt 5....

    1965 SB P5 is type 1
    1965 SB B5 is type 2
    1965 LB B5 is type 3
    1965 LB P5 is type 4

    type 1 and 2 I believe are only in the prooflike sets....
