I don't think we can compare a hand fed screw press error with modern techniques and make much sense.

The point is that it is NOT an error, but an old post mint trick coin manufactured by mutilating two good coins.

 

Someone was likely trying to pass that off as a mule -- and still could. I would destroy it, personally.
