    Hi ya'll,
Sorry, I meant "Date" and not "Dante"......
Usually when the mint mark and the date are both doubled on a Lincoln cent it would be machine doubling?

If that is ALL that is doubled, then yes maybe, but not necessarily. I know that may sound like a contradiction, but with the limited information provided, a concrete opinion cannot be postulated.

Wow, I'm really speaking out my bibs today.

Before about 1990 (sorry, but I cannot recall the exact date) mintmarks were hand-punched into the working dies. If the working die was doubled the doubling would not affect the mintmark because the mintmark was added to the die after the die was completed. So, to answer your question, if the date and mintmark are both doubled that would usually be an indication of strike doubling (aka machine doubling). Be aware that the mintmark could be repunched (RPM).

No, that's not all that is doubled. I just found a 1969s with doubling in the date, Liberty and lightly in the motto but also the mint mark, lightly. Thought I had read somewhere about doubling on date and mint mark would classify it as machine doubling.
    Thank you.

A 1969-S Lincoln cent with true doubled dies is valued, oh around $100,000

This I know, that is why I think it is only machine doubling. The doubling is not as wide as the pics you see of the valuable one.
