Lincoln Memorial DDO?

    Its a 1968-S. So then you guys are saying its PMD? A coin wrapping machine can push a letter too make two of them, would this be done while its still at the mint or just any old coin wrapper? Im not one of those guys thats saying "no way its a DDO and I wont listen to anyone" But I am curious as too how this is accomplished. Is there a link or someone has on hand that explains how this happens in detail, while I go have a smoke. If not Ill google it to see what I can find when I get back. Thanks for looking guys

    Ok, I understand that, I was just wondering how a coin wrapping machine could do this and what other coin damage a wrapper can do.

    Have you ever opened a OBW roll of coins? You can usually toss the outside ones because of the damage the crimper does to these coins. Here is a classic one messed up this way.

    It might have been a minor RPM, but the damage removed any value it might of had.
