This past week I was in Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks and while I was at the store in Grant Village on Aug 24 I got a 2010D Nickel in change. Grade was BU. I was pretty stoked. And I had a great vacation too!
congrats i got a ton of shield cents and few nickels and dimes. mostly P's, but got at least 1 D of each. still no quarters though..
Good for you! We are getting dimes, cents, and dollars here in change. Should've asked Yellowstone for some of their quarters! ha ha!
They were selling them in the gift shops. $4 for a P&D. On the way out there I stopped in the Black Hills for a day and at the the State Game Lodge in Custer State Park. I gave the waiter a 2010 P&D Half Dollars and an Two Ike Dollars. He was thrilled to death. His mother is a coin collector. I also gave out Ike Dollars in tips whenever I stopped at a restaurant in South Dakota.
Nice job on the 2010s...so far I've gotten everything except D nickels, dimes, and quarters. I count the yellowstone quarter and pres dollars I got at the bank. Still have plenty of the shield cents, and P and D halves...oh yea and plenty of p dimes. Slowly getting them, except for the box of 2010 P dimes that I got at the bank.
