Sold those dimes for $6 per roll times 20 rolls. :D

    Almost better than silver.

I was stoked when I got a box of 2010s, and when the dealer told me he would buy them, I was bummed that I had already dumped half the box!

Searched 2 boxes of halves and my first box of dimes....dimes are too tedious since they are paper rolled and not in plastic

    Box 1 - Skunk
    Box 2 - 6x40%
    Dimes - 3 silver - '41, '61, '56

I think the plastic rolls are harder to open...maybe I'm just special...I haven't seen a roll of halves in plastic before though?

I've never seen halves in plastic either, I was just talking about the dimes.

How is that almost better than silver. A roll of dimes is $5 and he sold them for $6. Silver fetches far more than that.....

Unless of course, you were teasing......

I finished my bag of dimes and searched two boxes of halves. My finds:

    Bag of dimes: 27 2009P, 4 2009D, 6 2010P, 17 2010D. Also, 4 silver roosies....2 1964, 1 1959 and 1 1946
    Box 1 of halves: 1 1964 :)
    Box 2 of halves: 1 40%er, 1 1964, 6 MS 2007, and 3 proofs, 1971s, 1984s and 1985s

It's the equivalent of 15 silver dimes in a box, in terms of ROI... How many boxes of dimes do you get with 15 silvers? I have only gotten one with near that, and another that was close.

I'm missing something. Selling a $5 roll for $6 is a one dollar profit. Find 1 silver dime and you make a 1 dollar profit about. find 2 silver dimes and you are ahead.

    ?

    I'm not following you

I found 20 rolls, and made a dollar each. That's $20. The equivalent of 15 silver dimes, out of one box. It's almost as good as silver because you almost never hit 15 silver dimes in a box, eh? The reason I say almost is I'd rather find the 15 dimes and keep 'em.

I made more profit on those rolls and that box than all but 1 other dime box.

I was selling 2010P rolls on ebay too...put the price up to $7 plus shipping to see how crazy enough people were...I think they all sold...

OK, got it Ltrain. lol....Makes sense now.

I got 2 boxes today, will open them later. I also found 80 bucks of CWR - shutout. At another bank, they had one roll......it ended up being an UNC Mint Wrapped roll of 2003D. :) I'll see how much I can get for it.

    Congrats on the Walkers.

Box of dimes, 1 silver, box of nickels, 1 roll of pre 1960's, and 1 war nickel. Wanted quarters too, but they didn't have any. Shouldn't have slept in 'til noon, now all the banks are closed, haha.

Look on the bright side Ltrain, TD bank is open on Sundays so you can dump and get some more! Definitely going to miss roll searching this semester, I found out that the bank had been ordering extra boxes of dimes just for me.

Yep, gotta love TD. Poor TD Banks... all of them in Delaware County have probably been ordering extra dimes because of me, haha.

Understandable. They provide awesome customer service.

Forgot to mention that I got a 1963 Series A $10 bill in my cash when I dumped my change. It's kinda beat but its the oldest bill I've ever found.
