Coin hacker on the loose??

There's still a lot o' gold hidden in them thar dunes on the east coast. Great place for the metal detector. I remember reading about one spring break in the late 70's or early 80's when people were wondering why the college kids were going nuts on the beach. It was just after a pretty good storm, and the kids were finding gold coins all along the beach. It wasn't until then that a Spanish ship was found wrecked a few hundred yards offshore with millions in gold.

Garrett has a metal detector and loves to search. He hasn't found anything of value, but he has fun looking.

 

A gentleman recently told me the secret to discovery was to keep looking and looking and looking. Eventually something good is gonna come up. But, as said, he has fun with the search, and that is reward in itself. Us home bound bodies seek treasure in different ways, but it's all in the hunt. IMHO

 

Wow, I'm surprised!! Where you live there must be a treasure somewhere!! My sister has a metal detector but I haven't taken a look at it yet! Maybe in a couple weeks when she comes into town!!
